Giveaway Winner!

So instead of just picking a winner and posting it I decided to video tape me choosing the person who won! So please enjoy!

And the winner is......

Allison Smith! You won because you follow me! :)

Thank you all for entering my giveaway! I wish I could give ALL of you a free book, but unfortunately the only job I have is babysitting for $5 an hour so I wouldn't be able to do that. There will definitely be more giveaways to come and keep watching for my reviews every Sunday!

I have already talked to Allison because I know her and she said that she wants Anna and The French Kiss. She wanted it because I have a YA book club and that is the book we are reading next ;) Now she doesn't have to pay for it!

Thanks again to everyone who participated!

Paranormalcy by Kiersten White (review)

Genre: Paranormal (obviously ;D)
Pages: 335
For ages 13+

"Evie’s always thought of herself as a normal teenager, even though she works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she’s falling for a shape-shifter, and she’s the only person who can see through paranormals’ glamours.

But Evie’s about to realize that she may very well be at the center of a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures.

So much for normal." -Goodreads

I had already read Paranormalcy by Kiersten White last year but I thought it would be great to read it again since I loved it so much. It had AWESOME CHARACTERS, romance, and the paranormal aspect. Probably my favorite type of book right there.

Evie, oh.my.word. I LOVE HER! I want her to jump out of that book and hang out with me! I love her quirkiness and humor.

OH MY GOSH! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I STINKING LOVE LEND?! Lend is right up there with Etienne from Anna and the French Kiss. Lend is the love interest in Paranormalcy (if you hadn't already guessed!) Lend is sweet and very different from other male characters. He can change into different people. Some weren't very attractive, but Evie saw passed it!

I loved in the book that when Evie cussed she would say "bleep" instead :) Evie's best friend,Lish, is a mermaid and the only way to that you can communicate is through a translator that speaks in monotone. So when Lish would cuss the translator would say "bleep". I liked that because it was funny and kept the book clean!

I loved this book because it was paranormal but very light. There was lots of humor, which I love! I read this book in less than a day. It really wasn't that hard when you are reading a book this good. I can not wait for the next book in the series, Supernaturally to come out. I wish I had an ARC of it!

Seriously, if you haven't read this book you better be going to get it right now. It is AMAZING! And there is ♪♪ROMMMANNNCCEEE!!♪♪ I think I am in love. No, I know I am in love. I ♥ this book!

I give this book 5 out of 5 diva crowns. Who wouldn't? Crazy people, that's who.

Also, I am reminding everyone about my giveaway. The deadline is next Friday at 9:00 pm CDT. Check it out here :) You could have a chance of winning a book from the list of my favorites! *That giveaway is now closed!*

The Liar Society by Lisa and Laura Roecker (Review)

Genre: Contemporary
Pages: 368
Young Adult

"Kate Lowry didn't think dead best friends could send e-mails. But when she gets an e-mail from Grace, she’s not so sure.

To: KateLowry@pemberlybrown.edu
Sent: Sun 9/14 11:59 PM

Subject: (no subject)

Kate,
I'm here…
sort of.
Find Cameron.
He knows.
I shouldn't be writing.
Don't tell.
They'll hurt you.

Now Kate has no choice but to prove once and for all that Grace’s death was more than just a tragic accident. But secrets haunt the halls of her elite private school. Secrets people will do anything to protect. Even if it means getting rid of the girl trying to solve a murder" -Goodreads

The Liar Society by Lisa and Laura Roecker is THE PERFECT BOOK! A mystery, a love triangle, and a strong main GIRL character.. WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE?!? That's right.. nothing!

Kate is a somewhat odd girl. Those are the best! I loved her throughout the whole entire book. She was a believable character and she was strong. She had so much voice!
There were many laugh-out-loud parts in this book. Ask my mom! I could hear her laughing while reading this book from the other room!

What I also loved about this book was that it wasn't predictable like some mystery books. You couldn't guess the killer or anybody who was behind it. There were so many people I was RACKING my brain to figure it out! I know some people haven't read the book but all I have to say is.. I DID NOT SEE THAT ENDING COMING! (Wow I am using a lot of capital words in this review....)

Who doesn't love romance? Well some people might not, but if you have read my other reviews you know I DO! The romance in this book was fantastic! Liam is definitely a swoon worthy character. Well, looks like I can add him to the list of swoon worthy boy characters in books! The love triangle between Kate, Seth, and Liam is pretty intense. (Oh yeah, INTENSE!)

Seth, Kate's neighbor, is definitely the character that lightens the mood in this book. Anytime the book got a little heavy there came in Seth saying something completely hilarious!
I give this book 5 out of 5 diva crowns! Boy, do I love this book?! :D
